| Summary: | gulf Some of the Gulf seals apparently go no farther south, and whelp near the Magdalene Islands. Others, seldom hunted, whelp around Anticosti. But the major portion/ seem to keep on down, passing through Cabot Strait, where again the relative positions of the hoods and harps are reversed. These eventually reach the Grand Banks, the St. Pierre Bank, the Banqueraux, and even Sable Island - probably the farthest southern limit of the migration. PRINTED ITEM DNE-cit W. J.
