The event [Sunday-School picnic] took the more sophisticated name "Garden Party". More valuable prizes became/ available. The sports program was broadened with the addition of rounders and soccer, and, even though the ball used was a pig's bladder enclosed in sheep's skin, this did not lessen the competition or the fun.
