Description
Summary:flake A flake is a platform made of long sticks laid side by side across beams made from tree trunks of an average size and all resting of "shores" made from the same material the platform was then covered with [reverse] boughs. The flake is used for drying fish. It stands to reason that when the sticks (which have been cut "green" from the forest) dried, seams could be seen between each.
