Summary:duck n A tin can was put on this rock to serve as the 'duck', and part of the game [Duck on the Rock] was to knock the duck from the rock. The boys, any number, stood on a line in the dust about 10 or 12 feet from the duck. Each one was armed with a small stone which he threw at the duck to knock it from the rock.
