Summary: | cat's eyes symbol "Allie" collections were prized like the crown jewels, and trading for desirable specimens was frequent. There were the large "allies" - "_bull's eyes_ prized as 'collectors items', but not really fair to play against smaller ones. Of small "allies"- there were the common, run-of-the- -mill "butterflies" and "_cat's eyes_". Much prized were coloured, as of solid colors- red, white, black, blue. These we named as one names precious jewels - "pearl", "snowflake". Also much in demand were ball-bearings- also, because of their weight, used little for players.
