Summary: | cobby house [PT] JW _Cobby house_- children's pretend games (written by Veronica Lidster At home our "cobby" was the discared box of an old truck. A small bench was the table and we had plastic dishes, tin cans for flower pots and old hubcaps for baking pans. We'd make mud pies and invite our friends in for a "pretended" meal. We washed our dishes in an old bucket and someone would sweep the floor with an old straw broom we rescued from the dump. Every now and then we'd invite someone in for a "mug up" and sometimes we'd pretend we were having a big "scoff". We really enjoyed ourselves! Yes DICT CEN.
