| Summary: | caplin scull n Along the east coast of Newfoundland, summer begins with the Caplin Scull. At Outer Cove, and Middle Cove, at Torbay and Beachy Cove, at Northern Bay and Spillers Cove, as June begins to mellow toward July men slip down to cliffs and beaches every day at dawn to inspect the landwash and the green waters heaving restlessly beyond.
