Summary:Bangbelly I find that I have mentioned bangbelly several times/so I had better explain what it was. I can only name the ingredients, not the proportions.|Into a bowl put some finely ground|cornmeal and flour with a fair amount of spice. Add to that a generous quantity of blackstrap molasses, a bit of baking soda and enough water for a stiff batter and mix in some finely cubed salt fat pork. A few raisins or, if you have them, a few dates, will give it a bit of a festive air. Some women add breadcrumbs, mashed left over potatoes or an egg or two. Turn the whole into a greased iron pot.and bake it uncovered. DNE Sup PRINTED ITEM G.M.
