| Summary: | The papers of the Women and History Project were deposited in the Archives and Special Collections in two stages: on April 22, 1992 Martha Muzychka on behalf of the Provincial Advisory Council on the Status of Women deposited two boxes of material; and, in June 16, 1993, Linda Kealey deposited two boxes. The papers consist of business records which include minutes of meetings and draft proposals, and research material which was used as background for the publication of the book, Pursuing Equality: Historical Perpectives on Women in Newfoundland and Labrador which was published in 1993. The collection had contained published material but these were removed: those with Newfoundland content were transferred to the Centre for Newfoundland Studies and the remainder to Memorial University Library.
