Description
Summary:The Reid Lots -- Two fish markets -- Native Association -- Norman Bay School -- The Southwest Coast -- Inuit. "The Southwest Coast : its communities, its people" (cover). -- Frequency: irregular, vol. 1 - vol. 2, no. 3 (1968-73); bimonthly, vol. 2, no. 4 - vol. 22, no. 2 (1973-93); not published March-October 1982, May-July 1991. The first publication entitled Decks Awash was a 1964-65 newsletter summarizing the content of the Memorial University Extension Service television program of the same name (1964-77). Between 1968-93 a new Decks Awash journal was published independent of the show, covering topics of interest to both fishermen and rural Newfoundlanders, including fisheries equipment and policy, agricultural development and community profiles.
