His work includes chapters on the soil, climate, the exploitation of maritime and terrestrial resources as well as an overview of colonization and Newfoundland's foreign relations. This copy of the book has a homemade typed English-language index attached to p. [374], drawn up by a previous owner, and has been signed by the author on the half title page. Includes bibliographical references (p. [353]-370).
