The report filed by the Director of Child Welfare outlines the statistics of both unwed mothers and children who were under the care of the Division, both temporarily and permanently. Also included are explanations of issues facing the department and those it serves, as well as remedies sought to reduce them, letters submitted to the director by those working in the Division, and the Division's financial statement. The report of the judge of the St. John's Juvenile Court includes statistics of those who appeared before the Court, the financial statement, and letters submitted to the director pertaining to the operation of the Juvenile Court system.
