Description
Summary:This book is a collection of anecdotes about the sport fishing and hunting experiences of William Kennedy during his time at various British naval bases. While Newfoundland is mentioned throughout the book, and is featured on p.59-68, the author explains that because he wrote two other books containing quite a lot on the subject of hunting and fishing in Newfoundland (Hurrah for the life of a sailor, and also Sport, travel, and adventure in Newfoundland and the West Indies), he chose not to cover it in great detail here.
