Short, Lewis Lancelot (1936-),
Born in British Harbour in 1936, he started fishing with his uncle John Short when he was 12-years-old. In 1967, during NL’s resettlement program, Lance and his wife Pat moved their family to New Bonaventure. He worked primarily as a fisherman in Trinity Bay, fishing with handline, trawl and cod traps. |
