Description
Summary:Rodney built by Stewart Sturge, Salvage. Built over winter 2011-2012, the rodney is framed with steam-bent juniper (tamarack) laths, one and a quarter inch wide by half an inch thick. She has a spruce keel and stem with half inch fir planks. Her knees came from a juniper tree that was uprooted during Hurricane Igor in 2010. All the wood for his rodney was cut by Stewart with the help from his wife Julia.
