Description
Summary:The use of fracking to recover oil and gas reserves is contentious, not just in Newfoundland and Labrador, but throughout the world. A number of citizens’ groups had arisen in the region as a result of proposals to undertake fracking developments, and the local media had devoted a significant amount of coverage to the issue.
