Description
Summary:The University of Maine softball team, coming off the best season in the program’s history, has high expectations for the 1995 season. The Black Bears look to build on last year’s success and mix in a batch of talented incoming first-year players for a solid 1995 campaign. UMaine’s goal this season is to defend its number one spot in the North Atlantic Conference and capture a second league championship. This year’s squad will be led by cocaptains Kris Gorman and Cindy Harrington. Gorman, a senior shortstop, was a NAC All-Conference first team selection last year while Harrington, a senior pitcher, garnered second-team honors.
