Description
Summary:The paper describes experience production with a focus on the creation of meaningful work experiences and leadership. This paper has been written during our education at the Institution of Arts, Communication and Learning at Luleå University of Technology. The purpose of this paper has been to investigate whether the experience model Total Experience Management and a reality based example of leadership can be combined to create a theory of Experiential Leadership.Through an inductive approach and with Grounded Theory as a research method, we have developed a reality based example of leadership. We conducted qualitative interviews with the company Liveside Safety to create this example. By using the same example, the model Total Experience Managment has been modified and adapted for Experiential Leadership. We have not tested the theory in this paper however it could be tested in future research. The model can, in theory, be used in organizations that make use of temporary employd staff for project implementation. We believe that the model could be used to inspire leaders to create a better working environment for their employees, hosting the staff is as important as the hosting of the customer. Keywords: Experience ProductionTotal Experience ManagementProjectLeadershipExperiential Leadership Validerat; 20130712 (global_studentproject_submitter)
