Summary:Objective: The aim of this study was to describe the occupational therapist's therapeutic strategies and therapeutic use of self to support engagement in occupation with patients in palliative care. Two theoretical grids based on the therapeutic strategy of Model of Human Occupation [MOHO] and the therapeutic use of self the Intentional Relationship Model [IRM] was used to identify similarities and differences between the models.
