Regional climate model simulation of winter climate over central-southwest Asia, with emphasis on NAO and ENSO effects
The article presents a study which examines the implication of the regional climate model in the simulation of the winter climate in Central-Southwest Asia (CSWA). It examines the mean model climatology of temperature and precipitation, the effects of El-Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and North At...

Summary: | The article presents a study which examines the implication of the regional climate model in the simulation of the winter climate in Central-Southwest Asia (CSWA). It examines the mean model climatology of temperature and precipitation, the effects of El-Nino Southern Oscillation (ENSO) and North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) on storm activity and the storm statistics. It reveals that climate model captures the observed effect of NAO and ENSO on the CSWA climate. |
