Summary:Results of research cyt b a gene of 28 speciments of cestodes N. schaldybini, collected in several areas of Lithuania and Karelia (Gomselga), and also received from Dr. V. Haukisalmi (gathering from Finland, Konnevesi) are stated. The analysis has shown existence of three haplotypes that are considered as the proof of colonization region from various Pleistocene refuges.
