Description
Summary:Turbot growth in length and weight was represented by von Bertalanffy's equations for females separately. Relative and absolute turbot fecundity was established, gonad maturation cycle as well as biochemical-physiological changes in the course of the year were studied. The investigation of turbot nutrition resulted in the establishment of the most important food components, monthly and annual relations. Analysis of turbot nutrition depending on fish length and sex was conducted separately. The impact of commercial fishing on turbot population, i.e. changes in the spawning school structure, juveniles and the CPUE index, was studied.
