Summary:The aim of this work: research virus spread in seed potatoes in Lithuania, using ELISA method. The studies carried out in Phytosanitary Laboratory of State Plant Protection Service in 2005-2006 years. Searched viruses in potatoes: Potato X potexvirus, (PVX), Potato Y potyvirus, (PVY), Potato M carlavirus, (PVM), Potato S carlavirus, (PVS), Potato A potyvirus, (PVA), Potato Leafroll Virus, (PLRV) by using ELISA method. Was researched these variaties of potatoes: ‘Lady Rosetta’, ;Saturna’, ‘Solist’, ‘Beluga’, ‘Meridian’, ‘Laura’, ‘Latona’, ‘Nora’, ‚Solara‘, ‚Vitara‘, ‚Red Scarlett‘, ‚Vineta‘, ‚Presto‘, ‚Viktorija‘. Results of research show, that in 2005-2006 years from E3 category potatoes variaties most injured was ‚Saturna‘ potatoes breed, and most less were ‚Lady Rosetta‘ and ‚Solist‘ breeds. In 2005-2006 years from A category potatoes variaties most injured were ‚Nora‘, ‚Vitara‘, ‚Red Scarlett‘ and ‚Viktorija‘ potatoes breeds, ant most less were ‚Latona‘ and ‚Vineta‘ breeds. In 2005-2006 years most spread virus, which injured potatoes in both categories, was PVY and PVS, and most less virus was PLRV. PVX virus not found in any potatoes variaties.
