Summary:The article gives the analyzes of arctic diesel technology before and after modernization. According to European Parliament and Council directive 2003/17/EB to 2009 the quantity of sulphur compounds in diesel has to be no more than 10 mg/kg. In order to archive this purpose AB "Mažeikių nafta" from 2005 invented the extra kerosene distillation before diesel hydrotreatment process. In article analysis on arctic diesel production technologies before and after modernization, the overall sulphur amount, the limited filtration temperature (LFT), disturbance temperature, cetanine number, the prosperity index, density changes are being compared.
