For this purpose the following tasks were set: • to analyze the concept of event; • to learn the organization principles of event; • to learn the concept of music festival and its organization peculiarities; • to examine the concept of electronic music; • to learn the peculiarities of festivals held in Lithuania; • to examine and describe the organizational activity of the electronic music festivals “Tundra” and “Revolution Festival”. The method of qualitative research was used to analyze the research. The method of case analysis was selected as the strategy of research. The data were collected using the semi-structured interview on Internet. The research revealed that the most important part of organization of electronic music festivals is planning. It is essential aspect before the event because the main role in the planning is played by setting of tasks/goals, determination of the festival’s date and time. The festival probably would not be possible without these primary planning factors. It is difficult to prevent problems in such type of events; however the methods to cope with them have to be found. The arising problems and challenges induce the ones, who have contributed to the festival, to evaluate their work, to put pluses and minuses, and to improve in the future on the basis of this experience, and to organize the festival of even better quality in the future.
