Summary:The thesis presents the topic of the change in the nationality education of preschool children in different historical periods. In the process of globalization, people encounter the loss of cultural identity and the underestimation of the development of nationality. Due to this reason, in the education of preschool children, not enough attention is paid to the development of nationality and the vaccination of fundamental values, which leads to societal resistance, apathy, emigration, and other negative processes. In order to analyze how the development of nationality in preschool education institutions has changed in different historical periods, the thesis analyzes the concept and significance of preschool-age children nationality education, the involvement and nurturing of the pedagogue thirty years ago, and modern pedagogue involvement in ethnocultural education and its fostering. To reveal the nationality education of preschool children, its change, security measures, and other aspects, interviews with five pedagogues were taken, and the obtained results were analyzed. Results obtained in the previous analysis helped to implement the eTwinning educational project "Yellow, green, red". The project brought together students, parents, and pedagogues from Lithuania and Iceland. Temos aktualumas. Kaip bendrija, kuri vadovaujasi vienoda ideologija, kuriama bendra istorija. Šie procesai neigiamai veikia skirtingų kultūrų individualumą ir išlikimą (Grigas, 2002).
