Russia's vision as an Arctic nation influences its priorities in the region, linking its national security to the Arctic, which relates to the concept of the "Russian Soul." Added to this Russian-Western rivalry is China's interest in the area, evidencing its intention to connect the Silk Road with the Arctic route. Therefore, it is crucial to analyze Russia's advances in the Arctic, as well as the factors that determine its interests in the region and its impact on the dynamics of international geopolitics. En el contexto del cambio climático, se está produciendo un deshielo en el Ártico que abre el acceso a sus importantes recursos naturales y lo convierte en una vía de comunicación estratégica entre Oriente y Occidente.
