Summary:On 4 November 2010, in an act of unity, all European Union (EU) Member States and three European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries (Norway, Switzerland and Iceland) kicked off the CYBER EUROPE 2010 exercise. This was the first ever pan-European Cyber Security Exercise. The objective was to increase the understanding of how cyber-incidents are handled and test communication links and procedures in case of a large scale cyber-incident.
