Summary:Climate change and the accompanying social risks have already become one of the main problems of the world community. An increase in the frequency and duration of natural disasters (floods, typhoons, mudflows, etc.) lead to significant loss of life. Heat waves have caused excess mortality among the urban population, especially among Russian megacities. WHO initiated the development of national adaptation plans, and Russia has accumulated some experience in developing a regional action plan using the example of the Arkhangelsk region. and a local plan in Moscow. The National Adaptation Plan of the Russian Federation provides for the participation of the Ministry of Health, but there is no intersectoral interaction, the best practices of other countries have not been sufficiently studied. Изменение климата и сопутствующие ему социальные риски – одна из главных проблем современного мирового сообщества. Увеличение частоты и продолжительности природных катастроф (наводнения, тайфуны, сели и др.) приводят к значительным человеческим жертвам. Волны жары стали причиной избыточной смертности городского населения, особенно российских мегаполисов. ВОЗ инициировала разработку национальных планов адаптации. Так, в России накоплен опыт разработки регионального плана действий на примере Архангельской области и локального плана в Москве. В Национальном плане адаптации Российской Федерации предусмотрено участие Минздрава, но пока отсутствует межсекторальное взаимодействие, недостаточно изучена наилучшая эффективная практика других стран.
