В статье анализируется проблема экологического использования и охраны богатейших природных ресурсов Арктики, разграничения морских пространств между арктическими государствами, правовое положение Российской Федерации в этом регионе, также рассмотрены вопросы защиты интересов России в арктическом регионе, проблема экологической уязвимости Арктики и пути ее решения.
