| Summary: | The article examines the nostalgia as a social and cultural phenomenon. Residents of the Ustyanskiy district of the Arkhangelsk region were chosen as a example. The study used the field materials of the expeditions of the Department of Ethnology of the Moscow State University in the 1970s and 2010s conducted in this region. The article raises the question of the nature and features of the feeling of nostalgia as a collective memory. The modern expeditionary surveys and field records of 1974 made in the same region made it possible to identify and compare nostalgia for the Soviet and pre-revolutionary times. The author dwells on the issue of perception of "Soviet" by modern rural residents. The work concludes that there is a great similarity of nostalgic feelings, regardless of the socioeconomic and political situation that a person yearns for. В статье рассматривается феномен ностальгии как социо-культурного явления. В качестве примера были выбраны жители Устьянского района Архангельской области. В исследовании использованы полевые материалы экспедиций кафедры этнологии МГУ 1970-х и 2010-х гг., собранные в этом районе. В статье поднимается вопрос о природе и особенностях чувства ностальгии как коллективной памяти. Современные экспедиционные исследования и полевые записи 1974 г., сделанные в одном и том же районе, позволили выявить и сравнить ностальгию по советским и дореволюционным временам. Отдельно автор останавливается на проблеме восприятия «советского» современными сельскими жителями. В работе делается вывод о большой схожести ностальгических чувств вне зависимости о социально-экономической и политической ситуации, о которой тоскует человек.
