| Summary: | Biography of Nikolay Vissarionovich Nekrasov, one of key figures of the Provisional government, member of Constitutional Democratic party and potential rival of A.F. Kerensky in combat for revolutionary leadership, is presented in the article. It is shown from the birth and till the death of the politician how N.V. Nekrasov came to the State duma of Russia, how he advanced to the forefront due to his business qualities and personal attraction, how he prepared draft demise of Mikhail from imperial throne, how he failed to be at the head of the Provisional government, how he stayed in Russia after events of October and entered into life of the Soviet state. Having got access to work in cooperative system and even to teaching in Moscow state university and having deserved the order of the Labor Red Banner, N.V. Nekrasov was nevertheless subject to repressions three times and executed in 1940. В статье показана биография Николая Виссарионовича Некрасова, одного из ключевых деятелей Временного правительства, члена партии кадетов и потенциального соперника А.Ф. Керенского в борьбе за революционное лидерство. От рождения и до смерти политика показано, как Н.В. Некрасов пришел в Государственную думу России, как выдвинулся на первый план своими деловыми качествами и личным обаянием, как подготовил проект отречения Михаила от императорского престола, как не сумел возглавить Временное правительство, как остался в России после событий Октября и включился в жизнь советского государства. Получив доступ к работе в кооперации и даже преподаванию в Московском государственном университете, заслужив орден Трудового Красного Знамени, Н.В. Некрасов был, тем не менее, три раза репрессирован и расстрелян в 1940 г.
