| Summary: | ON SELECTED PROBLEMS OF STRATIGRAPHY AND CHRONOLOGY OF THE VISTULIAN IN POLAND Summary The history of studies and views of the course of the Last Glaciation in Poland are briefly discussed and more important stratigraphic and chronological subdivisions proposed for the Vistulian in this country are given along with their tentative correlation. Further part of this paper deals with discussions with authors of individual subdivisions . Common points and differences between the stratigraphic schemes are emphasized and tentative correlation of events of the Last Glaciation, especially individual ice sheet advances and interstadial breaks, is given (Fig.). |
