Description
Summary:The Vietnam Petroleum Institute (VPI) and the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) have carried out a programme of geoscientific research and institutional capacity building since 1995. It has included geoscientific projects focused on assessment of the hydrocarbon potential of selected sedimentary basins, technology transfer and inhouse training at VPI in Hanoi and at GEUS in Copenhagen. Co-operation is continuing within the framework of a new, long-term project that aims to strengthen research capacity in Vietnam within the fields of basin analysis and modelling.
