Methodology for approbation of projects of strategic concept documents in the field of military security

Recently, in connection with the integration of Ukraine into the NATO North Atlantic Alliance, a large number of conceptual strategic documents have been developed in the state, especially in the field of military security. Unfortunately, the quality of these documents very often wishes to be the best. The developed conceptual strategic documents very often have little to do with each other, and sometimes they contradict each other on some issues. Consequently, it became necessary to develop a methodological apparatus for evaluating conceptual strategic documents at the stage of their development.The article proposes a scientific and methodological apparatus for comprehensive assessment of draft strategic conceptual documents. To carry out the specified procedure a list of indicators is proposed - the degree of compliance of the title of the document with its structure and content; the degree of taking into account the requirements of higher-level documents; the degree of influence of the main provisions of the document on the planning process based on the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (defense forces); the extent to which the document takes into account the main provisions of the territorial defense of Ukraine; the extent to which the main provisions of the document affect the efficiency of the mobilization deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (defense forces); the extent to which the main provisions of the document affect the efficiency of the management of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (defense forces); the extent to which the main provisions of the document affect the efficiency of logistics support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (defense forces); the degree of influence of the main provisions of the document on the operational support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (defense forces); the degree of compatibility of the document with similar NATO documents.
