Eine Gattung und 12 Arten der paläarktischen Coryphiini werden neu beschrieben: Coryphium turcicum sp. n. (NO-Türkei); Coryphium loebli sp. n. (Nepal); Coryphium smetanaorum sp. n. (Nepal); Coryphiodes franzi sp. n. (Kaschmir); Coryphiodes schuelkei sp. n. (Tadschikistan); Altaioniphetodes gen. n., Typusart Altaioniphetodes ryvkini sp. n. (Altai); Ophthalmoniphetodes piger sp. n. (Rila-Gebirge); Ophthalmoniphetodes maljovicensis sp. n. (Rila-Gebirge); Eudectus reductus sp. n. (Wrangel-Insel); Boreaphilus schawalleri sp. n. (Chabarowsk); Boreaphilus hokkaidensis sp. n. (Hokkaido, Sachalin) und Boreaphilus wunderlei sp. n. (Cordillera Cantabrica). Die neuen Taxa werden ins phylogenetische System der Tribus integriert. Alle neuen Arten werden abgebildet. Zoogeographische Besonderheiten werden diskutiert und die Fundorte auf Verbreitungskarten dargestellt. Zusätzlich werden für einige bekannte Arten neue Funde mitgeteilt. Einige Beziehungen zwischen den paläarktischen und nearktischen Teilfaunen werden diskutiert und ihre Diversitäten miteinander verglichen. Bestimmungstabellen werden zur Aufnahme der neuen Taxa teilweise neu erstellt. All new species are figured. Zoogeographical features are discussed and records mapped. Additional records of known species are noted. Some relations between the Palaearctic and Nearctic partial faunas are discussed and their diversities compared. Keys are partly made new to add the new taxa. The system of the tribe Coryphiini by Watanabe (1990) is discussed and corrected.
