| Summary: | W pracy zostały opisane warunki bioklimatyczne na Svalbardzie oraz ich wieloletnia zmienność. Przedstawiono również typy pogody występujące nad tym obszarem oraz ich powiązanie z cyrkulacją atmosferyczną na północnym Atlantyku. Zwrócono uwagę na zmienność warunków termicznych, radiacyjnych, higrycznych, ciśnienia atmosferycznego oraz wiatru, głównie w okresie 1971-2000. Każde z wymienionych zagadnień rozpatrzone zostało dla pięciu przykładowych stacji na archipelagu Svalbard: Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard Lufthavn, Hornsund, Hopen oraz Bjørnøya. Omówiono główne typy pogody oraz częstość ich występowania nad Svalbardem. Scharakteryzowano również wpływ cyrkulacji atmosferycznej na warunki pogodowe panujące na omawianym obszarze. The thesis describes the bioclimatic conditions in Svalbard and their long-term variability. The types of weather occurring over the discussed area and their relation to the atmospheric circulation in the North Atlantic are also presented. The variability of thermal, radiation, hygrographic, atmospheric pressure and wind conditions was noted, mainly in the period 1971-2000. Each of the issues mentioned above was considered for five exemplary stations in the Svalbard archipelago: Ny-Ålesund, Svalbard Lufthavn, Hornsund, Hopen and Bjørnøya. The thesis also describes main types of weather and their frequency over Svalbard. The author mentioned the influence of atmospheric circulation on weather conditions in the area in question.
