Summary:Eight new varieties of white sea buckthorn Hippophae rhamnoides L. ndash; R1, R2, R4, R5, L1, C6, AGG, AGA have been studied for their physical and organoleptic properties. The dimensions of fruits diameter and length, the mass of 100 fruits, the quantity of fruits in 100 g, the pulp/fruit ratio were determined and the tasting of sea buckthorn berries was carried out. The results of the research show the non-significant unevenness of the experimental groups of white sea buckthorn, taken in research, according to the physical characteristics: the mass of 100 fruits and the pulp/fruit ratio. From the results of the organoleptic analyses, it was found that the samples of white sea buckthorn of the R5, AGG and C6 varieties were assessed as the best by the taster committee. Au fost supuse cercetării 8 soiuri noi de cătină albă Hippophae rhamnoides L. ndash; R1, R2, R4, R5, L1, C6, AGG, AGA. S-au determinat dimensiunile fructelor diametrul și lungimea, masa a 100 de fructe, cantitatea fructelor în 100 g, raportul pulpă-fruct şi s-a efectuat degustarea fructelor de la aceste soiuri. Rezultatele cercetării proprietăţilor fizice și organoleptice denotă o neuniformitate nesemnificativă a loturilor experimentale de cătină albă luate în cercetare după masa a 100 de fructe și raportul pulpăndash;fruct. După analiza organoleptică, probele de cătină albă de soiurile R5, AGG și C6 au fost apreciate de către comisia de degustatori ca fiind cele mai bune.
