Summary:The database of the extreme weather phenomena EWP was established for period 1966-2004. The data from 18 metrological stations and 65 observation stations were collected. The conditions of EWP were determined according to the synoptical catalogue Hess-Brezowsky of the baric-circulation characteristics for European-Atlantic region and to the following indexes: North Atlantic Oscillation NAO, Arctic Oscillation AO, Vanghengheim-Ghirs and Cats. Also the standards of the selection of the analogic synoptical situations for 5-10 days period forecasting were determined.
