Summary:Alex Clark was elected as mayor of Indianapolis in 1951, serving on term, and was the youngest mayor the city had seen. Clark was a World War II veteran and was prisoner of war. He was a founding member of the Wyoming Antelope Hunters Club which is still active today. Clark ran for mayor again in 1957 but lost to Richard Lugar. He died in Argentina in 1991 after a head injury while returning from Antarctica.
