Description
Summary:A dry feed produced from cod roe has been shown to support growth of cod larvae, although not beyond metamorphosis. Cod larvae respond to the feed by producrng trypsin. Since cod roe is very rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are essential for fish larvae, it is extremely sensitive to oxidation which leads to formation of toxic levels of hydroperoxides.
