Description
Summary:Precision and relevance of pre-recruit studies for fishery management related to fish stocks in the Barents Sea and adjacent waters. Proceeding of the sixth IMR-PINRO Symposium Bergen, 14-17 June 1994 The least studied subject in the assessment and management of Barents Sea cod and capelin is the management strategy. Using a cod-capelin-herring model, the uncertainty in the management strategy of cod and capelin arising from uncertainty in the spawning stock-recruitment relationship is investigated using stochastic methods.
