Summary:A stratified random bottom-trawl survey on Flemish Cap (NAFO Div. 3M) was carried out in July-August 1998 on board R/V Comide de Saavedra. The survey was conducted from July 17 to August 2 following the same method used since 1988 and provided data on the distribution, abundance, biomass and demographic structure of shrimp in the area. Results of shrimp population (Pandalus borealis) are presented in this paper and compared with those previously observed.
