Description
Summary:Download for free The City Region Programme was initiated by the Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation (for later references, we use “the Ministry”), and 33 city regions in Norway participate in the pro-gram. The program’s main idea was a notion that increased cooperation between the municipalities included in a city region will contribute to increasing the growth potential for the region as a whole. Each city region was allocated the task of carrying out comprehensive social analyses, based on today’s structures and future potentials included the effects of increased cooperation between the municipalities on future development. Since different city regions face different types of future challenges, the city regions themselves have decided the precise contents of their analyses, giving 33 different reports discussing different themes and challenges.
