Description
Summary:U radu su opisane opsežne abrazivne promjene cakline i dentina zuba uzrokovane neuobičajenim prehrambenim navikama netipičnim za današnjicu. Slične promjene tvrdih zubnih struktura nađene su u eskima sa Aljaske, Kanade i Grenlanda. This paper describes cases of severe tooth wear, caused by a strong abrasive component in bread (stone particles), and loss o f enamel and dentine o f the “pressure-chipping ” type, as a consequence o f grinding a mineralized substance (shrimps legs), which is a little known type of tooth wear in primitive Inuits of Alaska, Canada and Greenland.
