Summary: | Terrestrial hydrophilid beetles species (Coleoptera: Hydrophilidae) occurring in the Kuril Archipelago in the northwestern Pacific are reviewed. Based on literature records, museum collections and material from recent expeditions, 17 species (including 2 unidentified) are known from this archipelago. A detail report on 5 species is given on the basis of about 1,260 adult specimens collected in the Kuril Islands by International Kuril Island Project (IKIP).
