Summary: | The Ainu language can be divided into three main dialect groups: Hokkaido Ainu (HA), Sakhalin Ainu (SA), and Kuril Ainu (KA). It is generally considered that the Ainu number system is based on a vigesimal system. However, as far as modern SA is concerned, a decimal system is used. This paper gives actual examples from the available materials and compares them with KA and HA. I hope to consider the relevant linguistic changes and historical background with everyone here. 北大文学研究科北方研究教育センター公開シンポジウム「サハリンの言語世界」. 平成20年9月6日. 札幌市 |
