LINGUISTIC MEANS OF COMIC EFFECT IN UKRAINIAN ANECDOTES

| Summary: | Modern linguistics requires complex studies that investigate the linguistic and stylistic features, structure and subject matter of the texts of anecdotes. The article analyses Ukrainian anecdotes as specific feature of national culture. The topicality of the article leaves no doubt since this issue is not investigated enough in Modern linguistics and the article reveals linguistic units, which represent comic means in Ukrainian anecdotes. The article defines linguistic features of jokes, focusing on some words, which are markers of differentiation for Ukrainians focusing on some criteria, analyses linguistic units which describe notion «the other» and some difference in languages. The article considers the main relations of opposition «own and the other». The aim of our research is to draw main comic means, which represent notion «the other» in Ukrainian anecdotes. The article defines international jokes with funny situations, these jokes are about Jew, Gipsy, Georgian, Chukchi. The research of anecdotes as a special type of the text is very important nowadays for culture, literature and linguistic studies. It is necessary to investigate its topics, dynamics of its plot and characters, situations, some aspects of its linguistic features and means that reflect dichotomy «own -the other». It can be revealed in differences of national speech and in usage of some words.Key words: anecdote, opposition «own and the other», «the other», comic means, differentiation. У статті розглянуто мовні засоби досягнення комічного ефекту наявні в текстах українських анекдотів. Проаналізовано засоби комічного, що репрезентують поняття «чужий» та відмінності в мовних культурах, що відображають «чужинність». Закцентовано увагу на вживанні слів, що є маркерами «чужинності» для українців за певними критеріями. Розглянуто основні типи відношень, в яких концептуалізується опозиція «свій-чужий» в українській мовній картині світу: власне належності / неналежності, кровної пов’язаності / непов’язаності, духовної спільності / відмінності.Ключові слова: анекдот, поняття «чужий», засоби комічного, опозиція «свій-чужий», мовна картина світу, чужинність. В статье рассмотрено языковые средства, присутствующие в текстах украинских анекдотов, которые употребляются для достижения комического эффекта. Проанализированы средства создания комического, которые представляют понятие «чужой» и отличия в языковых культурах. Обращено внимание на употребление слов, которые отображают отличия для украинцев по определенным критериям. Рассмотрены основные типы отношений, в которых реализуется оппозиция «свой-чужой» в украинской языковой картине мира.Ключевые слова: анекдот, понятие «чужой», средства создания комического эффекта, оппозиция «свой-чужой», языковая картина мира, отличие.
