Summary:Due to a printer error, the photographs of H. W. (Bud) Hulan and Y. Mohamed Saif were switched in the biographies of 1988 Poultry Science Association Award winners in the December 1988 issue of Poultry Science. The biographies are reprinted correctly below. The Poultry Science Broiler Research Award winner was H. W. (Bud) Hulan of the Research Station Agriculture Canada, Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada. The award is contributed by the Broiler Council and consists of $1,500 and a plaque. It is given for distinctive research work that has a strong economic impact on the Broiler Industry. Hulan was born at Jeffreys, Newfoundland, Canada. His education progressed from graduation from a one classroom school to obtaining a B.S. (agriculture) and M.S. (nutritional biochemistry) from McGill University. He received a Ph.D. degree (nutritional biochemistry) from the University of Maine.
