ULV Sprays of Propoxur for Control of Trombicula alfreddugesi

The ULV method was adapted for dispersal of propoxur (undiluted Baygon® MOS) sprays against the so-called common chigger mite, Trombicula alfreddugesi (Oudemans). Estimated effective doses for 90 and 95% control through 4 wk were 1 and 1.9 kg AI/ha, respectively.
